                               Military Medical Career

Duties and Responsibilities: Member of the Army Nurse Corps, you’ll gain experience unmatched in the private sector. The leader you were meant to be, supervising a variety of professional and paraprofessional nursing care providers at U.S. Army health care facilities, making decisions about day-to-day patient care and ensuring that decisions are carried out in an effective and efficient manner. Professional judgment will be the driving force behind leading the nursing team to provide a full spectrum of patient care.

Salary $40,000


Education 
 Army nurses are required to have a bachelor's degree in nursing. This degree may be obtained before being commissioned, or you may join the Army ROTC in college, receiving benefits as you complete your degree and pursue your registered nursing license. Most positions within the Army also require nurses to have at least one year of supervised experience or take a course in public health nursing. All nurses must also be licensed as an RN.
