The results that are expected of these procedures is to come up with new treatment options, drugs and vaccines.They are tested on specimens like such as bacteria and viruses. Additionally they regularly perform clinical investigations and write technical reports  during the research process.

            Education: The educational  for a medical scientist is typically a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Sciences, although some medical scientists choose to get a medical degree, such as the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), instead.
