"They're only truly great who are truly good." - George Chapman

I believe its true because people who often great are always good. Like for example if a student is always doing good in their test in all their classes then they are doing great. They are getting their work done on time and efficiently. A person who does not do good on their test and do not turn in their work on time  is unefficeint then  they are not doing great.

"Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don't do it."
                                                                                               - George Mitchell
From the quote I notice that its true because you are not truly winning if you use performance enhancers. Like you didn't

"I wont cheat" - Dale Murphy

Its a good quote to live by because you will always know that you always tried your hardest in the work you put in. If you don't cheat then you will have a clear mind knowing that you always did the best you can. That is what Dale Murphy did

                       "Character Matters Most"
                                       Dale Murphy

What I think of the quote is that its true because having a good character matters when your trying to be the best you can be. Like for example if a person wants to be a leader of something they need to have good character or else no one would want them to be leader. Good character is that you have CTR traits. Dale Murphy is a man who shows good character. A person who doesn't show good character is Aaron Rodgers he has no contact with his family whatsoever.

St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick is a man who at 16 was captured by Irish pirates where he became a laborer and had a vivid dream that in which he was shown the way to escape. After that he got into British ship and went back home. He didn't stay to long but the time he was there he converted to Christianity and decided to become a priest, which he did. So he felt still disturbed from being held captive for long that he decided that he was going to convert the country of Ireland to Christianity.

The purpose of St. Patrick's Day is to honor St Patrick's Day is a global celebration of Irish culture on or around March 17. It particularly remembers St Patrick, one of Ireland's patron saints, who ministered Christianity in Ireland during the fifth century.

"Great beauty, great strength and great riches are really and truly of no great use; a right heart exceeds all."- Benjamin Franklin

What the quote means to me is that having riches doesn't compete to having a good heart. Like for example if someone wanted to be a leader of something. Just because they have really good amount of money doesn't make them the best candidate for that job. But if that person has a good heart and wants to do good then they can be just as good with their excellent character.

"It may make a difference to all eternity whether we do right or wrong today"
                                                                       -James Freeman Clarke
What this quote is trying to say is that no matter what your decisions determine your DESTINY! If you choose to do wrong throughout your life then your future isn’t going to looks so bright. You will wish you never laid your hands on drugs and never had the first taste of alcohol. When you see your friends and how successful they are, you will wish to be in their place. Chose wisely what you want to do in life. For example, if you want to go out and steal, then you must suffer the consequences of getting caught and going to jail.

I think this quote means is to make sure you do good on your part. Like for example if you are on a sports team at school. You need to make sure you make some effort because most likely everybody else is on that team. Even though you would loose that game you would still feel that you did your best
