Based on this quote I came to the conclusion that the best thing a person can try to do in their valued time, is to do good. William Penn's quote is the golden standards that we as individuals should always strive for. The importance of doing good without a doubt is the best thing we can do because not only do you feel and make right choices, but it effects others as well. I like to of doing good as a making a ripple in a pond, the goodness has everlasting effects that will always be rewarded. Today in class some students forgot the importance of doing good since they did not want to participate in our class games.

When watching Dr. Randy's segment on the Oprah Winfrey show it made me realize the importance of living a life not wasted, and choosing the right steps in life. It is something that can be used for everyone no matter if they are dying the next day, or living a long life. 

Ear-Nose-Throat Specialist

Ear-Nose-Throat Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities: Usually sees patients in a clinic or office setting to evaluate symptoms that affect their ears, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. Otolaryngologists work closely with other physicians, sometimes referring patients to other specialists. Frequently they work with other medical specialties to solve single or multiple medical issues or to perform extensive surgery.

Educational Requirements: Complete 5 years of training in Surgical Residency,  a bachelor in science, 

Average Salary: $50,000 to $100,000+

Reflection: 
I think I would not pursue this career field for the reason of it being not something I am interested in. I like the medical field, but right now my majors consist of business and psychology.

In any scenario this is the correct way to think in a situation you are in. Any time you are in a crossroad remember that if it is the wrong way  do not go in that direction, but if you can always choose the right then always achieve to strive for the right things in life. Same could be said for the other part of the quote, if you not its know true then do not say it. For example when you have people say certain things about our country, they are ignorant onto what they really have. In fact when a person disrespects our country's flag and national anthem it is disrespecting to the people who died and fought for our freedom. It is unfair for the millions of veterans who died defending that flag and our values as a country.  People forget about the countries that there parents or grandparents left from, forgetting that they left to the United States for the values and opportunity that our country offers unlike there original countries that were not safe.

Education: After earning your bachelor’s degree, you should enroll in medical school. After you pass your medical licensing exams, you’ll complete a residency in radiology. Once your residency is complete, you’ll sit for your certification exams, offered through the American Board of Radiology. In total, you should expect to spend at least 10 years in school before becoming a certified radiologist.

Reflection: This is a career that I would keep in consideration. The projected growth seems high, so there must be a demand.

"Honesty is the best policy."

The quote  tells the truth, without honesty there would be nothing completed in a person' life. How can someones words can be worth something more than anything else. The trust and commitments would longer be to gain again after breaking the policy of honesty. A policy such a honesty should not be taken for granted. An experience of honesty that I have done  is that I always stick to the truth besides my assignments in class, as well as with my sisters who asked me what are the best things about high school. I was honest and told them that as much fun I had in meeting friends, the academics were excellent.

Thanksgiving Summary

Thanksgiving Break

For what I did for my Thanksgiving vacation was that I went to Hesperia to spend time with my
cousins who I had not seen for two months. I went to Mt. Baldy to see the snow, it was beautiful, and very convenient since it was nearby. In addition I got to see my whole family gathered up for Thanksgiving. Movies that I watched is Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving, it is one of our family's favorites since everyone seems to like it. I did not watch any sports, but I read an article on the recent cheating scandals about Houston Astros, it upsets me how they chose to be CTW  and hurt the integrity of the game of baseball. A CTR experience I had was that I helped my mom with preparing the sides for the Thanksgiving feast. Books that I read was Catcher in the Rye, I understood it was removed from school libraries in the 50's or 60's, it reminded of the the short story I read for AP Literature and how similar the themes innocence and isolation both novels had. Homework assignments that I completed was for AP Stats, AP Lit,  Honors Econ, and Exploring Computer Science.  My APs were the ones that had the most workload, and Econ was not too difficult since it was a worksheet and our college plan.
