When watching Dr. Randy's segment on the Oprah Winfrey show it made me realize the importance of living a life not wasted, and choosing the right steps in life. It is something that can be used for everyone no matter if they are dying the next day, or living a long life.

The quote  tells the truth, without honesty there would be nothing completed in a person' life. How can someones words can be worth something more than anything else. The trust and commitments would longer be to gain again after breaking the policy of honesty. A policy such a honesty should not be taken for granted. An experience of honesty that I have done  is that I always stick to the truth besides my assignments in class, as well as with my sisters who asked me what are the best things about high school. I was honest and told them that as much fun I had in meeting friends, the academics were excellent.

Upon reading this quote I came to the understanding of the importance of having integrity. That is for the reason that choosing the right can often be difficult for some people but knowing that  they chose to do the right can be one of the everlasting effects of making the proper decision. Like the example that was shown to us about the medical student who only received his diploma from all the cheating he did in his college exams. He did not have the courage and broke all the 3 magic keys to living your life with integrity

In Lavell Edward's story about the distributer telling the truth about the berries when Edward's father's name is mentioned. The significnce of just his father's name being mentioned changed the direction of the distributer's thoughts and actions. If it were the opposite and that indeed he did forgot the berries and his father's name was not as good then it would have been more difficult to get him to tell the truth. Money is good for what it is, but a person must not put that first in their life, the importance of a good name heavily outweighs the riches and luxuries provided by money.
